Chumash Casino Resort to acquire non-contact temperature kiosks

Currently, the Chumash Casino remains closed through the month of May because of the coronavirus hit. However, several safety measures are under work for the Casino when it decides to reopen its doors.

In the upcoming weeks, the Casino is expecting to have temperature-taking kiosks, which will be used by both the employees and the guests as well, which will scan your temperature in a few seconds of time and prevent all sorts of human contact.

Kenneth Kahn, the Tribal Chairman for the Santa Ynez Band by the Chumash Indians, said that their team has been working round the clock to ensure that the environment for the guests and employees is healthy and makes them feel safe as well.

John Elliot, the CEO of Chumash Casino, sent out emails earlier this week to the patrons informing them on the extension of closure of the Casino and also announced about the new kiosks that are to be soon programmed in the Chumash Casino.

Mr Elliot further said that the measures are entirely based on the discussions that are going on, and all the advice of the federal, state, as well as local authorities, are being taken into consideration. He further said that in these trying times, they are putting their best foot forward to restore the new normalcy in the Casinos.
