The best made by Microsoft on the gaming subscription plan is now starting to pay off. The company recently revealed that more than 10 million people are now paying to get access to the Xbox Game Pass, which is a buffet-style service consisting of an ever-changing library of the first as well as the third-party titles.
In June 2017, the platform of the Xbox console was launched by Microsoft. Just after two years, an equivalent offer was further released for the PG Gamers and was known by the name of Xbox Game Pass for PC.
Now you can pay for the two versions separately: the console version will cost you around $9.99 for a month, while the PC services will be charged as $4.99 per month. You could also combine both for an Xbox Live Gold for $14.99 per month.
Phil Spencer, the chief of Xbox, gave a detailed explanation of how Game Pass is coming across as very helpful during the pandemic hit, in a blog post. He said that the subscribers are playing twice as much as they used to before the Month of March. That has resulted in about 23 million subscribers of the Xbox live, which has ensured a 70% growth in the friendship rate. And the facility of multiplayer sessions is adding up to the popularity of the Game Pass.
