Patrick Mahomes questionable for Chiefs as they host Vikings
It still remains doubtful on whether quarterback Patrick Mahomes will play for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday as they host Minnesota Vikings in Arrowhead Stadium. He has been listed on the Chiefs’ injury report as questionable.
Andy Reid, head coach did not commit anything with regards to the status of Mahomes as well as other injured team players. A reigning Mahomes was spotted jogging on Thursday at the Chiefs’ practice session.
If the MVP does not receive a green light to go, he will be replaced by Matt Moore again. Moore passed 267 yards as well as threw 2 touchdowns with no interceptions in previous Sunday night’s game where the Chief lost to Green Bay Packers. He completed nearly 62% of all his throws. At the time he initially replaced Mahomes about 2 weeks back, when the Chiefs’ won over Denver Broncos, Moore passed 117 yards as well as 1 touchdown. At that time, Mahomes forcibly had to leave the Chiefs’ win over Broncos due to an injury on his knee.
A week ago, Reid said that he did not ever think of losing Mahomes for this season when he initially suffered with the knee injury. Mahomes is not the kind who goes down when hurt and is recovering from the injury at full-swing, Reid added.
